Lyra the Fairy Princess
Princess Lyra is a fairy, the most powerful type of magic user by far – and the only one alive today. There are people who would kill for that kind of power – literally. That’s how she’s found herself trapped in a dark cell, kidnapped by a shadowy man who stole her out of her own home. While she tries to figure out a way to escape, she’s paired with a suspicious potential ally – her captor’s own servant, Elec.

King Asa has been in denial about how badly his life has spiraled out of control in the past year, especially when it comes to his deteriorating relationship with his daughter, Lyra. However, when she disappears shortly after a heated argument, leaving behind only an open window, he’s forced to confront the only reasonable conclusion: Lyra has finally decided to run away. As he searches the kingdom for his lost daughter, he is joined by a new recruit to his team of guards – a young man with strange powers by the name of Elec.

Elec was created to serve his master, a shadowy man who has shown how willing he is to tear Elec apart for stepping even one toe out of line. Elec has been given two primary jobs: subdue the beast his master has captured, and spy on the king to make sure he doesn’t figure out who took the beast. These two jobs seem completely unrelated until he pieces them together – the beast is truly a young woman named Lyra, the king’s daughter. When Elec realizes that Lyra is too powerful to overcome, his only choice is to make a deal with her to help her return home without his master ever finding out.

Lyra the Fairy Princess is a fantasy story that sometimes dips into the dark or thriller subcategories. It takes place in a world similar to our own, but one where magic is commonplace. It has a planned sequel, but also stands alone as its own story.
